Dr. Danielle Merritt, Veterinarian

Hi there! My goal in my studies and professional career has always been to learn and do my best. I can thank my parents for that mentality. People always say you learn something new every day and this career takes that to heart, but that is what I love about it. I look forward to learning and experiencing more with aquatic animal medicine, and recently I have been doing just that. I am currently working through the Certified Aquatic Veterinarian program (CertAqV) through WAVMA. Outside of that, my family and I love scuba diving, which all started with my parents starting their business, Gigglin' Marlin Divers, 32 years ago from scratch. I have a dog (Nova), two cats (Nala and Niko), two clownfish, a sea urchin, a goldfish (Frank), a cichlid, some tiger barbs, and two axolotls (Nibbles, and Nyla). Nova and I love to find new trails and hikes when possible.
